Per European Volleyball Confederation’s (CEV) statement, the 2020 CEV Champions League is cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Tigers were initally supposed to play the quarterfinal stage against the Italian team Savino Del Bene Scandicci. Yet the games had been postponed several times as part of the measures taken against the spread of coronavirus outbreak before the competition was stopped indefinitely.
According to the CEV’s statement, the remainder of the 2020 European Cups, including the CEV Champions League Volley Super Finals scheduled for May 16 in Berlin, are cancelled and the competition will not be assigned a champion.
