Having started our Champions League journey last week, the team is heading to Finland to grab the second consecutive win in the 2020 CEV Champions Volley Pool A.
As you all remember, our first game in Pool A was a very thrilling one against Fenerbahçe Opet which has resulted in our favor by 3-2. Having continued the week by winning the Yeşilyurt match, which we played on Saturday, the team is now fully focused on Leg 2 of the Champions League.
The experienced middle blocker Lauren Gibbemeyer reflects on the upcoming game against LP Salo:
“We are excited to continue our Champions League journey as we head to Finland. All matches are important for us as we are trying to take first place in our pool and advance. We will stay focused and give our best.”
Our Leg 2 game against LP Salo will be played tomorrow, November 26, at 6 pm (CET), in the Salohalli SALO. There will be live broadcast on Spor Smart HD (Turkish TV channel) and on the CEV’s official platform EuroVolley TV.
