While Salo scored a total of 3 blok points in the first set, Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul brought in 3 team aces.
- Elevating their balanced performance from the first set, middle blockers of Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul Lauren Gibbemeyer and Yasemin Guveli did a great job over the net. Finnish spiker Haatainen’s offensive efforts were not enough against experienced spiker Natalia Pereira’s 7-point contribution. Home team took the advantage as they claimed the second set with a clear result 25-13. Guveli scored 3 stuff blocks in the second set until she got slightly injured from her ankle and got substituted with Ergül Eroglu.
