The team did a good start today on their first game of the Turkish League’s second half against Beylikdüzü.
Starting with a different line-up composed of Tijana, Carli, Lauren, Yasemin, Melis, Saliha and libero Merve, the team did a very collective job in blocking (5 pts) and serving (4 pts) today. Young outside hitter Saliha Şahin and Tijana Boskovic were on a good rise as they both scored 6 pts in the first set which ended 25-6.
Libero Merve Dalbeler’s defensive efforts and middle blockers Lauren and Yasemin’s dominance over the net were the keys of the second set (25-10).
Showing a consistent performance in the final set, the team managed to finish the game straight away with a 25-11 result.
Today’s top performances belong to Tijana (18), Saliha (12) and Yasemin (11).
Collecting first win of the second half, we are now turning our eyes on the Champions League match against LP Salo on Wednesday.
