Simge Aköz signs contract extension

The Club has agreed with the successful libero Simge Aköz for a contract renewal for two more seasons after her contract will expire at the end of next season. 

The experienced libero who has joined Tigers in the 2016-2017 season will wear the orange and white jersey for the next three seasons.

About Simge’s contract renewal, “We will be working with our team captain and the successful libero of Turkish National Volleyball Team Simge until the end of 2022-2023 season. We believe that we will achieve many things together during this period” said the Club’s statement.

Sharing her thoughts on the video published by the Club, Simge said, “I feel very happy and proud to be continuing to wear this jersey.”

About Simge Aköz

Born in 1991 in Samsun, Simge Şebnem Aköz started playing volleyball when she was 7 years old. Aköz played for İstanbul Artvin Sports Club, UPS, Yeşilyurt, Çanakkale Belediyespor and Halkbank, before she joined Tigers in the 2016-2017 season.
