The Club and Yeon Koung Kim who was playing for Tigers since 2018-19 season have parted ways by mutual agreement.
During her career as a Tiger, experienced player Yeon Koung Kim clinched two Turkish Super Cup titles, one Turkish Cup title, and a bronze and silver medal at the FIVB Club World Championship’s 2018 and 2019 editions consecutively. In the 2019-2020 season, Kim was the captain of the team.
“We have parted ways with our world star captain Kim. We would like to thank her for her personality on and off the court and wish her a healthy and successful career for the future”, Club’s statement said about Yeon Koung Kim’s departure.
About Yeon Koung Kim
Born in 1988 in Seoul, South Korea, Yeon Koung Kim is 192 cm tall. Before she joined Tigers in 2018, Kim played for Pink Spiders, JT Marvelous, Fenerbahçe and Shanghai Guohua Life.
