The Club and the experienced middle blocker Lauren Gibbemeyer have parted ways by mutual agreement.
Since she joined Tigers in the 2018-19 season, Lauren Gibbemeyer won two Turkish Super Cups in 2018 and 2019, one Turkish Cup in 2019, and also bronze and silver medals at the FIVB Club World Championship’s 2018 and 2019 editions consecutively.
Thanking her for all her efforts in the past two years, the Club states the following about Lauren Gibbemeyer’s departure: “Having brought out her professionality, Lauren made an important contribution to the team in last two seasons. We would like to wish her a healthy and successful career in the future.”
About Lauren Gibbemeyer
Born in 1988 in Rhode Island, U.S., Lauren Gibbemeyer plays as middle blocker. Before she came to Turkey, Gibbemeyer played for TAB Queenseis, Robursport Pesaro, Lokomotiv Baku, Imoco Volley Conegliano, Pomi Casalmaggiore and Igor Gorgonzola Novara consecutively.
