Playing the second #CLVolleyW home game this season, the team leads Pool A with 8 points (two 3-0 wins and a 3-2 win). Showing a solid block performance in the first three legs of Pool A, we are ranked third in team blocks with 39 points in total and a 3.5 block per set ratio.
Pre-Game Thoughts
Saying that her team is fully focused on the Champions League match, our successful co-captain and libero Simge Şebnem AKOZ adds, “First of all, I am very excited to be back with my team. My teammates prepared very well during the season break. We are focused on displaying a good team performance after the break and as a result of that continuing our Champions League journey with another good result.”
LP Salo outside hitter Anu ENNOK:
“We will play the second game against Eczacibasi. Of course it is always a bit harder because both teams can analyze the first game and do the corrections. We are facing one of the top teams in the world and we are ready to give them a fight. For us the most important thing is to find our own game and try to show the best volleyball we can.”
