All smiles in Finland as the team has left behind a very successful night against LP Salo in Finland by 3-0 at the second leg of the 2020 #CLVolleyW Pool A.
The game started very balanced until it was Tijana Boskovic’s turn to shoot some of her best jump serves. With Tijana fueling the team, the first set ended in favor of Tigers by 25-22.
Showing more and more dominance over the net as the set went on, the middle blockers Yasemin Güveli and Lauren Gibbemeyer were on the stage as the team didn’t lose control and finished second set by 25-10. Tijana scored 3 aces in that set.
Staying solid in the final set with the help of experienced spiker Natalia Pereira’s contributions, the team managed to finish the game in straight sets (25-14) collecting 17 points by block in total.
Becoming not only the best scorer of the day by her 16-point performance, Tijana has also been selected as the “Most Valuable Player” of the match.
Also this match marks a special day for the Serbian opposite Tijana Boskovic, as she reached 500 points today in her Champions League career with the orange and white jersey. Congrats Tica!
