Russian team Leningradka Sn. Retsirsburg were our guest today in the Club for a friendly match.
Aiming to reinforce our pre-season loading through a busy schedule made of double training sessions and friendly matches, our Head Coach Marco Aurelio Motta had a great chance today to see the current situation of the team, while our current squad Beyza Arıcı, Gamze Kılıç, Melis Durul, Ergül Eroğlu, Buse Kara, Yasemin Güveli, Saliha Şahin and also youngsters from Eczacıbaşı Academy, Doğa Topçiçek, Deniz Devrim Düzen and Melis Katipoğlu were on the court.
On her first day at the Club, our new spiker Natalia Zilio Pereira, who arrived in Istanbul last night, was very glad to meet the Eczacıbaşı VitrA family before she watched the friendly match off the court. Having won a silver medal at the 2019 Volleyball Nations League and claimed an Olympic berth from Tokyo Volleyball Qualification this summer, Brazil captain Natalia Pereira will be joining our preparations for the coming season in the following days.
Meanwhile we will host another friendly match against our Russian guests on this Saturday.
