Our summer schedule continues in Istanbul, where we start to host some joint practices and friendly games in the build-up to our 2019/20 campaign. Today the Division 1 team and our sister club Sarıyer Belediyesi was our guest in Eczacıbaşı Sports Hall.
Today’s joint practice was a good chance to see the current status of the team after long weeks of hard work during summer. While Marco Motta set various combinations of players during the game, the players who weren’t on the court did several exercises regarding physical strength and prevention. Some of our players on loan, who trained with us during the off-season and started their pre-season at Sarıyer, were on the court.
Leaving behind the first joint practice of the pre-season today, which was more like a friendly game without score, everyone was satisfied of the team performance especially in serving and defence, and most importantly by the chance to see their own positives and negatives.
Finishing today’s double sessions happily, we headed to one of our favorite pizzerias to enjoy the team dinner after a long day full of work.
