In the 17th Week of the Turkish League, Tigers emerge victorious against Türk Hava Yolları in four sets.

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit managed to take the lead by 31-29 in the first set with the experienced setter Maja Ognjenovic showing a remarkable performance.

In the second set, the attacks of Türk Hava Yolları were stopped by the blocks of Beyza Arıcı. Tigers took the second set by 25-21 with the team captain Tijana Boskovic bringing in 10 points. 

Despite that Türk Hava Yolları took the third set by 25-23, the Tigers managed to come back strong in the fourth set by 25-19.

 

Tijana Boskovic led the.team by 30 points today. The team did a good job in serve and block scoring 11 and 6 points, respectively.

In the 18th Week of the Turkish League, Tigers will play the Galatasaray home match on February 7, Monday. There will be live broadcast on TRT Spor Yıldız.

 

Ferhat Akbaş: "We showed a really good reaction and fought really well today. This match was extremely important for the league ranking. We will continue to approach each match after this point as serious and competitive as today."
