Against a strong Yeşilyurt which was leading the first set before technical timeout (12-10), the team managed to come back stronger after Hande Baladın’s attack at a crucial moment. Captain Tijana Boskovic bringing in as many as 11 points, Tigers won the first set 25-21. Middle blocker Beyza Arıcı scored 3 blocks in the first set.
Coming out stronger in the second set, Tigers took control of the set by a 5-0 streak from 2-2 to 7-2. Tijana Boskovic’s ace led us to the technical timeout (12-5). With middle blocker Yasemin Güveli scoring 5 stuff blocks, we won the second set 25-15.
The third set went narrow until 18-18. Gaining momentum with the help of Saliha Şahin’s consecutive serves, the team grabbed the third set 25-20.
