In the Association des Clubs Professionnels de Volleyball (ACPV) general assembly which was held in Istanbul, the Club Manager of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club, Cemal Erksun has become the next president of the association.
Founded with the goal of strengthening the relationship between volleyball clubs and increasing their representation power in the international arena, ACPV’s first president Stav Jacobi has handed over his duty to Cemal Erksun as of today.
While the new board was elected and strategies for the next period have been discussed in the general assembly held in Eczacıbaşı Holding in Levent, Istanbul, a message was given that firm steps will be taken in the coming days to bring European clubs together.
Expressing his happiness for the new assignment that the ACPV has given him, Eczacıbaşı Sports Club Manager Cemal Erksun adds, “As ACPV, we have successfully held the general assembly. We have elected our Board of Management for the new term. I will be on charge as the new Chairman of the Board. We will continue our work determinedly in order to bring European clubs together under a single roof.”
