Eczacıbaşı Dynavit played its second match in the tournament

In the second match of the 2022 FIVB Club World Championship hosted by Turkey, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit was defeated by Italian representative Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano with a set score of 3-1.

In the first set of the match, which started with mutual points, the opponent team finished the set 25-18 ahead with the points they received.

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit, who started the second set quickly and took control of the game, won the set 25-21. Experienced setter Maja Ognjenovic, who left her spikers in a single block with her clever pass distribution, was the name that stood out on the set.

In the third set, which was the scene of long rallies, the Orange-Whites, who came from behind and put on an impressive fight, lost the set 25-22.

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit started the set quickly with 6, completing the third set, and lost the fourth set 25-18. Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano, who came in 1st place in the group, will face VakıfBank in the semi-finals of Eczacıbaşı Dynavit.

Expressing his views after the match, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Head Coach Ferhat Akbaş said, “We will go out on the field to win again, regardless of who the opponent is in the semi-finals. We want to get a rematch from Imoco Conegliano in the final, we believe in that.”
