Eczazcıbaşı Dynavit, who hosted Polish representative
Developres Rzeszow in the quarter-finals of the 2023 CEV Champions League, won
3-1 with set scores of 20-25, 25-xx 25-xx and 25-xx and advanced to the
semi-finals.
The Orange and White team won the first match played in Poland 3-1 and with today’s match completed the matches they faced until the semi-finals.
In the first set, the visiting team won the set 25-20. Captain Tijana Boskovic became the top scorer of the Orange-Whites with 7 points in the first set of the match, which had some thrilling rallies.
Continuing their dominance in the second set, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit won the set 25-19, brininging a tie to to the game by 1-1. Orange-Whites got 2 serves and 2 blocks in the set.
In the third set of the match, where both teams found consecutive points, the representative of Poland won the field 26-24 and brought the set to 2-1.
In the fourth set of the exciting match, the Orange-Whites, who did not stop fighting until the last moment, won the set 25-21, bringing the score to 2-2 and extending the match to the fifth and last set.
Demonstrating his superiority in the last set before the semi-finals, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit won the semi-final ticket by winning 15-8. The top scorer of the match, which ended 3-2, was Captain Tijana Boskovic with 30 points, while Irina Voronkova with 16 points and Sinead Jack-Kısal with 14 points were the players who had an important share in the victory.
