Expressing her views before the match, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Team Captain Tijana Boskovic said, “We are ready to go to the field for our first league match. We know we are going to play against a really good team. That's why we need to play well and focus on opening this season with a win. The season is starting, so we don't feel pressure. We will try to do our best. After the matches in Turkish Cup, we had a week to train together. I feel we have a good team energy and connection. It will be very important for us on the field.”
At the same time, about the upcoming derby, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Head Coach Ferhat Akbaş said, “We will play the first match of the season. We want to play a clear, strong and a tough game regardless of who the opponent is. We are in good shape as a team. We are aware that the league is a long marathon and we will go out to win every game step by step”.
