In the first set, setter Maja Ognjenovic stepped in and had a great play while Orange and White’s ended the set 14:25. In the second set, Tijana Boskovic’s effective attack points helped Eczacıbaşı VitrA to win the set 21:25. Minchanka Minsk came back strong in the third set however Eczacıbaşı VitrA ended the match 3-1.
Tijana Boskovic was the top scorer with 25 points while Jordan Larson added 15 points. Orange and White’s had 11 block points while Rachael Adams contributed 4 of them.
Second match of the Finals will be played on Tuesday, April 10th in Istanbul at 19:00 (local time) at Burhan Felek Sports Hall. Winner will take the cup home.
