Eczacibasi VitrA started with a different line up to the game from the Turkish League. Young players for Orange and White’s, Ezgi Dilik and Yasemin Guveli joined the team after a long time. The first set of the match started with Serbian star Tijana Boskovic’s efficient attacks and led VC Oudegem take the first technical team time out (8:5). Eczacibasi VitrA started to use the middle blockers more and made the score 16:9. After the second time out Eczacibasi VitrA really stepped into the match and won the first set 25:13
VC Oudegem tried to bounce back after the first set and started with less unforced errors in the second set (6:5) Tijana Boskovic once again showed off some talent and helped Eczacibasi VitrA lead the first technical time out 8:6. Captain Jordan Larson contributed block points to Orange and Whites and made the score 16:9 at the second technical time out. Eczacibasi VitrA’s head coach Marco Motta made a substitution of Tijana with Gozde and Ezgi with Maja in the second set (20:16). Eczacibasi VitrA finished the 2nd set with a score of 25:17.
After the 2nd set Eczacibasi VitrA guaranteed to move on to the 8th Finals. In the third set, Eczacibasi VitrA kept controlling the match and led the first technical time out 8:2. Rest of the third set was in hands of Eczacibasi VitrA. Orange and White’s finished the third set 25:8 with a score of 3-0 against VC Oudegem.
