FIVB National Volleyball League’s 4th week came to a closewith games played on the 7th of June and Eczacıbaşı VitrAplayers gave their best for their respective national teams.
The fourth stage was a success for Turkey as we added 3 morewins and kept the 4th place. Eczacıbaşı VitrA players Meliha İsmalioğlu scored 31(26 attack, 3 block, 2 serves) points, Hande Baladın added another 24(23 attack, 1 block) whilesetter Gamze Alikaya contributed with 1 attack and 1 blockpoints. Simge Aköz, currently number 4 in Best Diggers list, showed us great pick-ups.
Capt. Jordan Larson played with 28(25 attack, 3 blocks) pointsand Lauren Gibbemeyer scored 13 (8 attack, 5 block) pointsfor USA while current number 1 spiker Tijana Boskovic got84 (76 attack, 7 blocks, 1 serve) for her National Team Serbia. On the South Korea side, Yeon Koung Kim grabbed a total of 44(35 attack, 7 blocks, 2 serves) points.
The Tournament will continue with week 5 starting thisTuesday (12th of June)
