Since its establishment in 1966, the Eczacıbaşı Sports Club has not only focused on its own achievements, it has also sought to contribute to the development of women’s volleyball in Turkey by training hundreds of first-class volleyball players.
To provide young players greater opportunities to gain experience in league matches, Eczacıbaşı Sports Club has begun cooperating with Sarıyer Belediyespor and the Karayolları Sports Club and is negotiating more collaborations of this kind with other clubs.
The goal is to loan out players from the development teams and 18+ category to clubs in the Vestel Venus Sultans League and Turkish First League, in order to give them more game time and opportunities for development.
Accordingly, in the season ahead, the Eczacıbaşı Sports Club is loaning out Mısra Aşçı, Çağla Erdem, Ceren Domaç and Sinem Beyazıt to Sarıyer Belediyespor, Rida Erlalelitepe and Yasemin Güveli to the Karayolları Sports Club, and Janset Erkul and Arelya Karasoy to the Beşiktaş Sports Club.
Last season, Eczacıbaşı Sports Club loaned out 26 players from its development teams, 20 of them to clubs in the Vestel Venus Sultans League and Turkish First League.
