Finishing the tournament with a 2-1 win-loss record, young Tigers defeated Ereğli Belediyespor (3-1) and Van B.Ş.B. Gençlik Spor (3-0) while they only lost against Mert Grup Sigorta.
Expressing how happy they are about qualifying for the Finals in their very first year in the 2nd League, team captain Nisa Buzlutepe adds, “I think this tournament has been very important for us. Playing against players who are older than us has been a great experience. The comebacks that we achieved during the matches that we played here showed how much our focus and desire were for this tournament. We aim to bring out another good fights in the following matches.”
The final stage of the 2nd League is to be played in Ankara between March 26 and 28. Divided in two different pools in the Finals, eight teams will strive to qualify for the Turkish 1st League.
