Having hosted Kameroğlu Beylikdüzü V.İ. in Week 14 of the Vestel Venus Sultans League, Eczacıbaşı VitrA continue win streak and still hold the leading position after today’s 3-1 win.
As the guest team Beylikdüzü won the first set full of exciting rallies, 26-24, our team came out strong in the second set with the help of our captain Jordan Larson’s strong attacks (25-13). Soon after our captain scored an ace right before the technical time out in the third set (12-8), Eczacıbaşı VitrA took control over the game with the help of our opposite player Tijana Boskovic’s contribution in attack. In the thrilling final set our team didn’t lose control and managed to collect three points by defeating Beylikdüzü 3-1 at home.
Tijana Boskovic was the best scorer of the game with 32 points. Jordan Larson and Lauren Gibbemeyer also had an important share in today’s win with a contribution of 20 and 11 points, respectively.
