Competing in 2019 CEV Champions League, Eczacıbaşı VitrA departs for Finland to play against Hämeenlinna in the second game of Pool B.
After finishing Week 9 of the Vestel Venus Sultans League with a 3-1 win over VakıfBank, our team continues to prepare for the next steps in both national and European leagues.
In the opener game of the 2019 CEV Champions League’s Pool B, Eczacıbaşı VitrA ladies hosted the Russian team Uralochka-NTMK Ekaterinburg, claiming victory in straight sets.
Our captain Jordan Larson shares few words before the game:
“We will depart for Finland to play our second game in the CEV Champions League this season. We’re excited for the match.”
Presented as the “Match of the Week” by the CEV, the away match against Hämeenlinna will take place in Elenia Areena this Wednesday, December 19 at 8 pm Finland local time. The game will broadcast live on Smart Spor in Turkey and on the CEV’s official OTT Platform, EuroVolleyTV.
