As the current leader in the Turkish League Eczacıbaşı VitrA defeated Karayolları 3-0 today.
With captain Jordan Larson powering the team in the first set, our team led the game 12-7 at the technical time-out after Tijana Boskovic’s strong attack. Middle blocker Büşra Kılıçlı’s 3 block points were remarkable as the team won first set 25-16.
Eczacıbaşı VitrA didn’t lose control in the second set, finishing it strong with the help of setter Gamze Kılıç’s nice sets.
Despite the home team Karayolları’s leadance at the beginning of the third set, Eczacıbaşı VitrA led the game once again after a clever attack by Yeon Koung Kim (12-11). Third set went on point-by-point yet Eczacıbaşı VitrA won the set 25-22 and returned back home with three points.
Tijana Boskovic was the best scorer of the game today with 28 points.
