Eczacıbaşı VitrA makes a good start in the 2018 FIVB Club World Championship, winning the Kazakhistan team Altay Volleyball 3-0 in the first game.
Having made a good start with the help of our middle blocker Lauren Gibbemeyer’s powerful performance, Eczacıbaşı Vitra won the first set 25-10. Besides the powerful attacks of Yeon Koung Kim and Tijana Boskovic in the second set, our libero Simge Aköz’s performance in defence belonged to the highlights of the second set, which we won 25-11. Eczacıbaşı VitrA held the control of the game in the third set and finished their first game of the 2018 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship’s Pool B 3-0.
