Yenisei was quick out of the attack with their spikers paving the way for a 7:4 lead before the first technical time-out of the opening set. Russia team stepped up after the technical time out and won 2 points in a row however, Rachael Adams attack point made the score 8:6 in Eczacıbaşı VitrA’s favor.
Back to back points from Yenisei Krasnoyarsk forced head coach Marco Motta to take the first technical team time out. Russian’s kept the momentum high and and led the second technical time out 14:16. With Guldeniz Onal standing in the serving area, Eczacıbaşı VitrA bounced back and won 5 points in a row and made the score 19:17. Tijana Boskovic’s effective attack point ended the set 25:20.
Yenisei Krasnoyarsk caught a promising start in the second set leading by 4:1. Orange and White’s unforced error points helped Yenisei Krasnoyarsk to lead 5:2 however Maja Ognjenovic’s clever points equaled the score (6:6).
Eczacıbaşı VitrA continued to set the pace of the game also in the early stages of the second set and led 13:9. Eczacıbaşı VitrA ends the second set with Jordan Larson’s and Tijana Boskovic’s effective attack points 25:15. By winning 2 sets, Eczacıbaşı VitrA secured their spot in the semi finals.
In the third set, Marco Motta substituted Guldeniz with Meliha. Coach Sergei Holotov took the first technical time out very early at 5:3. Coach Motta once again substituted Adams with Beyza. Yenisei Krasnoyarsk stayed in the game and made the score 12:12 after the first technical time out and young star Beyza Arici contributed block points to Orage and White’s.
Eczacıbaşı continued to dominate the scene also in the third set and ended 25:18

Coming to the game, we knew only 2 sets would be enough for us but we did our best and won 3-0. Now we are going to focus on Turkish League play offs and then we will wait for our opponent for the semi finals in Cev Cup.
