In the ninth week of the Vestel Venus Sultans League, Eczacıbaşı VitrA will host VakıfBank tomorrow in Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall.
As our team goes through a tight schedule after the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship, which was held in Shaoxing, China, our preparations for the derby clash continue non-stop.
Eczacıbaşı VitrA Head Coach Marco Motta shares his comments before the game:
“We are focused on the league now. This match will be important for us to claim the leading position. We left seven weeks behind in the national league. Having an unplayed game in the regular season, we are currently in the second place. Tomorrow’s game will be decisive to be or not in the leading position. We want to be back in the leading position in the league and sustain it afterwards. We played 9 games against VakıfBank since the beginning of last season. They are a difficult opponent that we know well. We prepare for this match with full concentration to display our best game.”
The derby between Eczacıbaşı VitrA and VakıfBank will take place this Saturday, December 15, in Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall at 4.30 pm Turkish local time. The game wil be broadcast live on TRT Spor.
