Eczacıbaşı VitrA will host the Russian team, Yenisei Krasnoyarsk in the second match of the Quarter Finals in Cev Cup.
In the first match of the Quarter Finals in Cev Cup, Orange and White’s defeated Yenisei Krasnoyarsak 3-1 and only 2 sets will be enough to move on to the Semi Finals for Eczacıbaşı VitrA.
Maja Ognjenovic commented:
“We came up with a different line up against Halkbank in the Turkish League and I am very happy how my teammates performed. A week before, we already guaranteed to finish the regular season on top and I am happy to add one more win to our winning strike.”
Ognjenovic also mentioned that they will play against a strong team and added:
“We beat Yenisei Krasnoyarsk in the first match however, we could have performed better. We could do a better job at attacking and blocking in the second match. As I said before, we will play against a difficult team. Especially Chaplina Malyhk is a very strong player. We have to start focus on the game and we need to give our best.”
Eczacıbaşı VitrA – Yenisei Krasnoyarsk will be played on Wednesday, 28th of Fenruary at 19:30 (local time) at Burhan Felek Sports Hall. There will be live streaming on Smart Spor.
