Having opened the 2018-19 season with a cup, Eczacıbaşı VitrA Women’s Volleyball Team defeated Halkbank 3-0 in the second week of the Vestel Venus Sultans League.
Coming back home with 3 points in the pocket after the 3-0 win against Nilüfer Belediyespor, Eczacıbaşı VitrA has passed its opponent from Ankara, Halkbank, with a promising team performance. Having started the game strong with the contribution of Yeon Koung Kim‘s powerful attacks, our team has won the first set 25-12. Displaying its control over the game in the following sets, Eczacıbaşı VitrA finished the 2nd and 3rd sets with the help of a promising team performance and managed to collect 3 points in Week 2.
While our young starTijana Boskovic steered her team as the best scorer of the game with 13 attack, Yeon Koung Kim and Meliha İsmailoğlu played an important role in today’s win.
Week 3 of the Sultans League will open with the game between Eczacıbaşı VitrA and Kameroğlu Beylikdüzü Voleybol İhtisas on November 9 at 6 pm. The match will be live streamed on TRT Spor.
