Having a more intense schedule within the start of the 7th week of 2018-19 pre-season, Eczacıbaşı VitrA finished the day with a morning practice, which was followed by a joint practice with Turkish Airlines Sports Club in the afternoon.
Starting the day with technical exercises focusing on defense and serve, our players Büşra Kılıçlı, Güldeniz Önal, Gamze Kılıç, Gözde Yılmaz, Dilara Bağcı, Ezgi Dilik and Merve Atlıer also did some physical exercises with our Head Coach Marco Motta to reinforce speed.
In the second half of the day, Eczacıbaşı VitrA hosted Turkish Airlines Sports Club for a joint practice at our club. Players from Eczacıbaşı Academy, Doğa Topçiçek and Damla Tokman, joined our Team at this practice.
Eczacıbaşı VitrA’s preparations for 2018-19 season will continue tomorrow with a single practice.
Our players Meliha İsmailoğlu, Simge Şebnem Aköz and Beyza Arıcı, who will compete at the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in Japan between September 29th and October 20th, will join the team after the tournament.
Our team captain Jordan Larson, Yeon-Koung Kim, Lauren Gibbemeyer and Tijana Boskovic, who will compete at the World Championship with their National Teams, will join Eczacıbaşı VitrA’s preparations for 2018-19 season after the tournament as well.
