Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Volleyball Team renewed the contract with national volleyball player Elif Şahin, who has been playing for three seasons.
Growing up from the Youth Program of Karayolları Sports Club, 2001-born setter Elif Şahin has been wearing the orange and white jersey since she joined the Tigers in the 2020-2021 season.
The Club statement about her contract renewal said, “We have extended the contract with our young and talented setter Elif, who has shown great improvement since she has joined our Club. We believe that together we will achieve great results.”
About her contract extension, Elif Şahin said, "I feel like this Club has been a home to me since the first time I came here and it is a very special feeling for me to be able to continue this. I feel very happy and honored to be able to wear this jersey for three more years.”
About Elif Şahin
Born in 2001 in Ankara, Elif Şahin is 190 cm tall and plays as a setter. Elif Şahin won the second place in Youth Girls Turkish Championship in 2017-2018 with the Karayolları Youth Team where she was raised. With Turkish Youth National Teams Şahin won the fourth place in U18 FIVB World Championship, the fourth place in the U18 European Championship and the second place in Balkan Championship.
Şahin has had an important share in winning the 2020 Turkish Super Cup and and 2022 CEV Cup titles with Eczacıbaşı Dynavit. The young setter has joined the Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team to compete in the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Nations League.
