Current leader in 2019 CEV Champions League's Pool B, Eczacıbaşı VitrA will host the Russian team Dinamo Kazan in the last game before quarter finals.
After the 3-2 win over Uralochka-NTMK Ekaterinburg in Russia last week, Eczacıbaşı VitrA has remained unbeaten in Pool B and secured quarter finals spot as the leader.
Preparing for her 40th Champions League match at Eczacıbaşı VitrA, captain Jordan Larson expressed how honored she felt about it:
“First of all, I can’t believe that it is my 40th Champions League game. What an honor it is to have represented Eczacıbaşı for so many years! I’m looking forward to play a great match (this Tuesday).”
Addressing that their team is eager to proceed to the quarterfinals, Dinamo Kazan captain Evgenia Startseva said “Eczacıbaşı is a great team and a very strong opponent. Yet, I believe that we have a good chance in fighting for a good result. We will do our best to make it to the quarterfinals. We will see what the game will bring."
The match between Eczacıbaşı VitrA and Dinamo Kazan will take place this Tuesday, February 26, at 5 pm in İstanbul Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall. The game will be broadcast live on Spor Smart and the CEV’s official OTT platform EuroVolleyTV.
