‘Future Spike’ project season opening

‘Future Spike’ programme, which offers thousands of young girls the opportunity to play volleyball and aims at raising young talents into future stars since its foundation in 2016, has opened the 2019-2020 season yesterday with the attendance of our Club President Faruk Eczacıbaşı, legendary libero Gülden Kayalar Kuzubaşıoğlu, the President of ES Volleyball Sports Club Sırma Üç and also the coaches, technical staff members, the students and their parents.

The Club has started the ‘Future Spike’ programme in 2016 in colloboration with ES Volleyball Club, letting thousands of girls between the ages of 6 and 18 get involved in sports. In the coming season, 3500 girls will have volleyball education in 19 campuses located in 8 different cities of Turkey; İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Antalya, Muğla, Tekirdağ, Kocaeli and Sakarya. 

During the opening ceremony a variety of social responsibility projects with the motto “I Enrich My Environment” were presented. The projects, which are planned to be put into practice in different campuses throughout the season, aim at different topics such as encouraging children for playing volleyball, reading and sharing books, recycling and helping physically disabled people.
