Eczacıbaşı VitrA’s successful spiker Gözde Yılmaz who did not have a chance to play due to an unfortunate injury wore the jersey again in VC Oudegem match.
Gözde who is Eczacıbaşı Sports Club’s player since 2007 had a great performance especially in 2015 CEV Champions League and FIVB Women’s Club World Championship.
“Finally the long and exhausting months of my life has come to an end. I had a serious knee injury in July during the National Team camp and had to stop playing. After the injury, me and Eczacibasi VitrA’s health department came together and start working on my injury. However, the process lasted longer than we thought.
In August, I was not even able to bend my knees. Things started to get better in October and we saw some positive improvements in my knee. Our technical staff and health department came together and let me train with the team.
In December, I was ready and feeling better to contribute to my team and give my best at the trainings. On Wednesday, I had a chance to play against VC Oudegem at the CEV Cup match. I felt grateful and happy after my first match in a long time.
I would like to thank to our health department, technical staff and my teammates for being there for me during this time. I also would like to say thank you to our executive board for believing and motivating me. From now on, I will do my best for my team” she said.

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit, continuing to structure its roster for the 2024-2025 season, will continue its journey with experienced setter Naz Aydemir Akyol, who emerged from its youth academy and wore the team's jersey between 2004 and 2009, and also played in the previous season.
