Gözde Yılmaz returns to her home club

The experienced opposite player Gözde Yılmaz who has developed into a professional player from the Eczacıbaşı Academy returns to her home club after three years. Gözde Yılmaz was playing for Karayolları Volleyball Team until she rejoined the Tigers.

Reflecting on her transfer, Gözde Yılmaz said: “I am happy to return to the Club where I grew up, and learned volleyball and sportsmanship. I am aware that I will join a structure which is totally different and new from what I left and I am really excited about this. I can’t wait to adapt and help this young and dynamic team which keeps improving.”

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Head Coach Ferhat Akbaş said, “Gözde is an experienced player who knows our club culture very well and can easily adapt from the moment she joins our team. I am sure that she will make a contribution to our team through her personality and game style."

 

About Gözde Yılmaz

Born in 1991 in Ankara, Gözde Yılmaz started playing volleyball at TED Ankara College when she was 9 years old. She played in the Senior Team of TED Ankara College for one season. Gözde played for Eczacıbaşı Sports Club between the years 2007 and 2019. In 2019, she went to VakıfBank and played there for two years until she went to Karayolları in the beginning of the 2021-2022 season.
