Eczacıbaşı VitrA is en route to Italy to play the first game in 2019 CEV Champions League’s quarter finals stage against Imoco Volley Conegliano.
Having prepared well at home for the critical match, the team will continue the trainings in Treviso.
Experienced middle blocker Lauren Gibbemeyer, who played at Imoco for one season and knows the Italian League well, addresses that Imoco has a great fan support and adds:
“Imoco always has many fans coming to their matches and the atmosphere is very loud and exciting. We can expect them to have a lot of fan support so we need to remain calm and play our game. This quarter finals will be challenging and a great test for us because Imoco has good team chemistry and a lot of experience playing at the highest level.”
The away match against Imoco Volley Conegliano will be played this Wednesday, March 13, at 8.30 pm CET in Palaverde Villorba-Treviso. The game will be broadcast live on Spor Smart and the CEV’s official OTT Platform, EuroVolleyTV.
