Eczacıbaşı VitrA performed well at the first match of Quarter Finals on Sunday, 4th of March and beat Nilüfer BLD. 3-0 (25-27, 20-25, 14-25) in Bursa.

The second match of the Quarter Finals was played on Wednesday, 7th of March in Burhan Felek Sports Hall. Eczacıbaşı VitrA dominated the second match as well and won 3-0. (25-20, 25-19, 25-20). Eczacıbaşı VitrA moved onto the Semi-Finals without losing a set and matched up with Fenerbahçe.

On Saturday, 17th of March, Fenerbahçe hosted Eczacıbaşı VitrA at the first match of the Semi Finals in Burhan Felek Sports Hall. Eczacıbaşı VitrA ended the match 3-1(25-13,23-25,8-25,15-25) and led the series 1-0.

In the second match of the Semi Finals on Sunday, March 25th, Eczacıbaşı VitrA kept the momentum high and finished the match 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 30-28) and moved onto the Finals of Turkish League.

Eczacıbaşı VitrA’s opponent in the Finals was Vakıfbank who beat Galatasaray in the Semi Finals. The Finals of Turkish League series was out of 5 matches and who ever wins 3 was going to reach the title. Vakıfbank hosted the first match on 17th of April and won 3-0 (25-22,25-17,25-20).

The second match of the Finals was played in Vakıfbank Sports Hall on Thursday, 19th of April. Despite the loss of the first, Eczacıbaşı VitrA came back strong and upset Vakıfbank 3-1 (25-20,22-25,24-26,21-25) and evened the series at 1-1. Beyza Arıcı was the highlight of the second match.

Eczacıbaşı VitrA hosted the third match of the Finals on Sunday, 22nd of April in Burhan Felek Sports Hall. There was an outstanding performance by both teams however, Eczacıbaşı VitrA once again came back strong in the fifth set and won the match 3-2 (27-25,19-25,27-29,26-24,15-10) and led the series 2-1.

The fourth match of the Finals was played on Tuesday, 24th of April in Burhan Felek Sports Hall. Vakıfbank won the match 3-0 (13-25,16-25,23-25) and tied the series at 2.

Eczacıbaşı VitrA lost the Turkish League Final series 3-2 and finished the season in second place. In the final match of the series Vakıfbank upset the home team 3-0. Beyza Arıcı was selected best middle blocker player of the Turkish League.
