Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu met with the athletes at the training of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club, one of the locomotives of Turkish volleyball. Mayor İmamoğlu visited the training facilities of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club and touched upon Istanbul's candidacy to host the 2036 Olympic Games and congratulated the world champion athletes. President İmamoğlu, who watched the training accompanied by club coaches, had the opportunity to chat with the athletes.
Ekrem İmamoğlu was accompanied by Eczacıbaşı Sports Club President Faruk Eczacıbaşı and Board members Nejat Emre Eczacıbaşı, Mustafa Sacit Basmacı, Cem Tanrıkılıcı and İsmail Özgür.
After the training, all athletes and club employees had dinner with Eczacıbaşı Sports Club Board members and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. During the dinner, which was conversational, many topics were discussed, from the importance of sports to the 2036 Olympic Games, from the history and culture of Eczacıbaşı to season goals.
After the meal, Eczacıbaşı Sports Club President Faruk Eczacıbaşı presented Ekrem İmamoğlu with a signed Eczacıbaşı Dynavit jersey designed specifically for the 100th Anniversary of our Republic, while Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor İmamoğlu presented Speech to all athletes.
