Eczacıbaşı VitrA will depart for Aydın tomorrow to play the last match of 2018-2019 Vestel Venus Sultans League’s regular season against Aydın Büyükşehir Belediyespor, who has advanced to the CEV Challenge Cup final yesterday.
While preparations are going on in Istanbul with ball and weight practices, experienced spiker Güldeniz Önal addreseses that they are eager to complete the regular season as leader and adds following about the Aydın match:
“This Saturday will be the last game of the regular season. We’ve been told how difficult and nice it is to play in Aydın and experience their home court ambience. I think Aydın fans are one of the league’s greatest achievement this season. I hope the number of teams competing from and around İzmir would increase. This match will be a good preparation before the critical Champions League match in Italy. We want to show our strength in the last match and depart for Italy in the best shape.”
The away match against Aydın Büyükşehir Belediyespor will be played this Saturday, March 9, at 2 pm in Mimar Sinan Sports Hall, Aydın. The game will be broadcast live on TRT Spor.
