Eczacıbaşı VitrA’s new season team building process has started and the first transfer is 188 cm tall National Middle Blocker from The United States Lauren Gibbemeyer. The American star will wear the Orange and White jersey for next season.
Team manager Nalan Ural commented on the transfer: “We started to build up our new team and Lauren is an experienced player who had many successes with the U.S. National team. I believe she will contribute a lot to Eczacıbaşı VitrA.”
Middle blocker Lauren Gibbemeyer was born in 1988 in Rhode Island.
Lauren Gibbemeyer began her volleyball career at Northern Lights Volleyball Club and has played in the following clubs: University of Minnesota, TAB Queenseis, Robursport Pesaro, Lokomotiv Baku, Imoco Conegliano, Pomi Cassalmaggiore and finally Igor Gorgonzola Novara.
