Eczacıbaşı VitrA ladies continue their long journey in the 2019-2020 season with a 3-1 win against Nilüfer Belediyespor in the pockets.
Making a good start today with the consecutive serves of Melis Durul who played as a wing spiker today we managed to lead by 7-0 in the first set. The young middle blocker Yasemin Güveli did a great job at the front line helping her team to win the set by 25-16.
In the second set, captain Yeon Koung Kim and Tijana Boskovic carried their team well with their strong attacks yet it was not enough to take control over the game (16-25).
In the third set, once again Tigers showed what they can do especially in block when they are locked in. With the young spiker Buse Melis Kara bringing good energy in reception and attack after her substitution, Eczacıbaşı VitrA ladies managed to lead by 25-18.
Finishing the third set with two aces in a row, middle blocker Beyza Arıcı did a great start in block and attack. Once again Kim and Tijana were on the stage as Tigers collected their first home win in the pockets by winning the final set 25-14.
Elevating their block performance match-by-match, Eczacıbaşı VitrA ladies scored 16 points by block today. Tijana Boskovic was the best scorer of the game today (23 pts).
