The second round of the 2021 CEV Champions League Pool D will take place in Kaliningrad, Russia. Within the measures taken against the coronavirus pandemic, the 2021 CEV Champions Legaue pool stage is played as two tournaments this season.
Having hosted the first tournament of Pool D in Istanbul, Eczacıbaşı VitrA currently lead their pool by three consecutive wins against Allianz MTV Stuttgart (3-2), Lokomotiv Kaliningrad Region (3-0) and Dinamo Moscow (3-0).
Focusing on their preparations for the tournament in Kaliningrad, the Tigers had a five-set victory in the Turkish League yesterday against their city rivals Galatasaray HDI Sigorta. Eczacıbaşı VitrA captain Tijana Boskovic exploded for a total of 40 points, reaching her career-high record since she joined the Istanbul powerhouse.
