Our team, which will compete in the 2024–2025 season of the CEV Champions League, Sultanlar League, and Axa Sigorta Kupa Voley, has begun its preseason summer preparations.
Tigers continuing its preparations with our captains Simge Aköz, setter Naz Aydemir Akyol, spiker Yaprak Erkek, middle blocker Sinead Jack-Kısal, libero Aybüke Özel, and our new transfer, setter Anna Nicoletti.
The training session, which started with a warm-up led by our conditioner Lukasz Filipecki, continued with defense and reception drills. It ended with a set game after a spiker and setter coordination match. Head coach Ferhat Akbaş and his team continued the practice with a collective workout.
Other players representing their countries in the Olympics and Nations League, including Hande Baladın, Elif Şahin, Beyza Arıcı, Tijana Boskovic, Jovana Stevanovic, Alexa Gray, and our new transfers Kathryn Plummer and Dana Rettke, will join the training sessions starting in September.
