Continuing our preparations in Kaliningrad where the 2nd Round of CEV Champions League Pool D will take place, the team had a single training today and finished their final preparations.
Telling that her team has left behind a long trip from Turkey to Russia yesterday, the experienced outside hitter of Eczacıbaşı VitrA and the Turkish National Team Fatma Yıldırım says, “We are currently the leading team of Pool D. Our goal is to win all games in this tournament and proceed to the quarterfinals by maintaining our spot as the first ranked team of our pool. Due to the pandemic, we play the pool stage in two different cities. We had a good rise in the first tournament of which our Club was the hosting team. Hopefully we will collect some good memories here as well.”
