Having won two games in the first round of 2018-2019 Vestel Venus Sultans League Playoffs against Kameroğlu Beylikdüzü, Eczacıbaşı VitrA will face Galatasaray HDI Sigorta in the semi finals stage.
The team faced Galatasaray three times this season, one of them being the Kupa Voley semi final and the other two at the regular season. Winning all three games against the league’s fourth-ranked team Galatasaray, Eczacıbaşı VitrA has lately won the Turkish Cup after playing a five-set long semi final clash against Galatarasay and winning Fenerbahçe Opet in the final.
On the other hand, Galatasaray defeated Beşiktaş twice in the playoffs quarter final stage.
Semi finals game schedule is to be announced in the following days. It will be played as best-of-3 series. Team that will win twice will proceed to the finals.
