The Club has agreed with the successful libero Simge Aköz for a contract renewal for three more seasons after her contract will expire at the end of next season.
The experienced libero who has joined Tigers in the 2016-2017 season will wear the orange and white jersey for the next three seasons.
About Simge’s contract renewal, “We will be working with our team captain and the successful libero of Turkish National Volleyball Team Simge until the end of 2024-2025 season. We believe that we will achieve many things together during this period” said the Club’s statement.
About her contract extension, Simge Aköz said, "We are together for three more seasons with Eczacıbaşı, who always makes me feel like a family and whose jersey I have been sweating for six years. It is a pleasure and proude to be able to play in Eczacıbaşı for three more seasons. I hope it will be beneficial for all of us and very successful seasons. waiting for us.”
About Simge Aköz
Born in 1991 in Samsun, Simge Şebnem Aköz started playing volleyball when she was 7 years old. Aköz played for İstanbul Artvin Sports Club, UPS, Yeşilyurt, Çanakkale Belediyespor and Halkbank, before she joined Tigers in the 2016-2017 season.
