The Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) announced a 17-member women’s preliminary squad for the upcoming FIVB World Championship, which will take place in Japan from September 29 to October 20, 2018.
Our players Simge Aköz, Meliha İsmailoğlu, Beyza Arıcı and Hande Baladın, who goes on loan to Galatasaray for next season, are named to the National Team preliminary squad. Beside these four players, who displayed a stunning performance during the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Nations League, Eczacıbaşı VitrA’s new members Saliha and Elif Şahin sisters, who will continue to play for Karayolları Sports Club on loan, are also named to the preliminary squad.
