Summer Interview with Beyza Arıcı

Preparing for her third season at the Club, Beyza Arıcı shared her thoughts about the coming season and how she enjoys life outside the court.

Beyza Arıcı has been carrying the orange and white jersey successfully since the past two seasons. Having suffered an injury in the past season, Beyza Arıcı currently works a lot with team during the 2019-20 summer work program and feels totally refreshed. Beyza has made a great comeback at the first game of last season’s Vestel Venus Sultans League Finals. Nowadays her greatest motivation is to be on the field again with her team mates and discover new things outside when she has free time.

Our interview with Beyza will give you insights about what kind of a person she becomes inside the court, how she sees things outside the court and shapes her daily life positively with a great smile on her face.

About Beyza Arıcı

Beyza was born in Izmir in 1995. Having previously played at Işıkkent İzmir, Seramiksan, Sarıyer Belediyespor, VakıfBank and Çanakkale Belediyespor teams, Beyza joined us in 2017-2018 season.

In 2017, Beyza won the U23 FIVB World Championship at the Turkish National Team, becoming also the Best Middle Blocker of the tournament.  

In the 2017-2018 season, she displayed a remarkable performance throughout her first year where she has become the Best Middle Blocker in the Vestel Venus Sultans League and won the 2018 CEV Cup. In the 2018-2019 season, she won the Turkish Super Cup, a bronze in the 2018 FIVB Club World Championship and finally won the Turkish Cup.

Beyza has continued her rise at the Turkish National Team as well. She has won a silver medal in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Nations League.
