Contributing to Turkish volleyball by supporting the development of talented young players, the Club extends contract with middle blocker Yasemin Güveli who had her development years in the Eczacıbaşı Academy.
Stressing the importance of developing young players, Board Member Sacit Basmacı says, “Yasemin is a player from our development teams. We are planning to raise many more players with the help of our Club’s support for young talents. We want to have Yasemin in our squad for long years and achieve new successes together.”
Young player Yasemin Güveli who has started to play for the Senior Team of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club in 2017 and achieved great results with the orange and white jersey, shares her thoughts about her contract renewal: “I am very happy that I will continue to wear the jersey of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club which I have been wearing proudly for 8 years. I see this Club like a family which has an important share in my development as a player. My goal is to continue my personal development and to do the best for my team. I wish everyone a healthy and successful season.”
About Yasemin Güveli
Having started her volleyball journey at Eczacıbaşı Academy, Yasemin Güveli made her Eczacıbaşı VitrA debut in 2017. While she was playing in youth categories, Güveli also had an important share in the Youth National Teams of Turkey.
